A classic pulled from the Filson archives, the Mackinaw Wool Work jacket is warm, highly durable, and simply functional. Sharing its DNA with our iconic 1914-patented Cruiser, it’s built with naturally breathable wool from Shetland sheep, with a tight weave that blocks wind and provides the durability to last generations. The design is streamlined, cut to hip-length to avoid riding up when seated and for easy access to pockets or a tool belt. The virtually indestructible custom snaps that are employed for the front closure and adjustable cuffs are easy to operate even when wearing work or insulating gloves. The pockets are patterned after the Cruiser’s, with snapped flaps and hidden handwarmer pockets. The left-side exterior features a layered accessory pocket and the interior an open-stow pocket. Wool has been the natural fabric of choice for protection from cold, wet weather for centuries in large part due to its ability to insulate even when wet. The complex structure of the wool fibers wicks moisture out to the tips for evaporation, enabling the fabric to absorb up to 30% of its own weight in water without feeling damp or clammy. Returns
If you need to return an item that you have purchased online, you can return the item at any of our locations in-person.
- If you would like to return the item online, simply visit the order page through your account or by clicking view order on the confirmation email
- Items for return must be unworn and still have the tags attached
- Once we receive your returned item our team will look over the item and make sure it clears inspection and a refund will be processed within a week of receiving it. Refunds take 5-10 business days to appear back onto your original form of payment.
- Return labels will be provided for a flat rate of $15 off of your return
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item that you have purchased online, you can exchange the item at any of our locations in-person.
- So if you would like to exchange an item please reach out to our customer service email to request the item you would like.
- The customer service team will create an exchange for you to begin the return of the original item
- Once the team receives the return the exchange item will be shipped.
- Return labels will be provided for a flat rate of $15
